As the prevalence of COVID-19 began to surge again, longtime Lenz client, Science ATL, decided to hold its annual Race Through Space virtually. We were excited to jump to the occasion and help them plan and promote this important initiative.

Lenz branded and marketed a new virtual racing app, the Race Through Space Galaxy Edition. The free app allows participants to run or walk a virtual 5K in their neighborhoods while traversing 54 million light-years across nine galaxies. Developed with Winnona Partners, the interactive, educational app has a delightful snarky script and some quirky music to punctuate the experience. Lenz created the app’s look and feel, color scheme, fonts, and finally a logo and app. icon to help it stand out on your phone.

We also completely refreshed Science ATL’s Race through Space webpage, which you can view by clicking here.

At the same time, Lenz developed and executed an interactive marketing campaign around a race weekend to launch the app that combined social media, PR., and influencer community outreach. Through these efforts, we secured media coverage through WABE-FM, Metro Atlanta CEO, the DeKalb Champion, and a posting with the Atlanta Track Club.

As a part of its mission to spread awareness of and support for the science community in Atlanta, Science ATL recently launched a digital video series dedicated to informing its social media network about the beauty and diversity of planet earth. Hosted by Dr. Kellie Vinal, each episode features an interview with an Atlanta scientist and a guided science activity to encourage science fans of all ages to wonder about the world around them through exploration.

To help promote this incredible initiative, Lenz designed a visual identity (logo), a web page, and promotional assets for social media and e-newsletter distribution. The organization’s YouTube channel was also refreshed and optimized, resulting in +250 subscriber growth, to house the videos. Finally, the team utilized Science ATL’s extensive Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram footprint, as well as its email list, to promote the content.

What initially started as a splash page developed in preparation for an industry conference evolved into a larger effort that included visual, content, and structural updates. This included additions like:

Since the launch in June 2020, the site has yielded record traffic and engagement.

The American Oncology Network recently partnered with Lenz Marketing to design, develop, and launch its new website. AON is an alliance of physicians and seasoned healthcare leaders partnering to ensure the long-term success of community oncology. They work with physicians and their practices to help them navigate the complex healthcare landscape, improve quality of care, and elevate community oncology.

Lenz’s goal for this national organization was to create a website that would help physicians and patients alike understand AON’s mission in addition to elevating its brand. In order to do this, Lenz’s Creative Director Ben Barnes and Art Director Scott Sanders collaborated with the AON team to design the site, which includes sections “For Patients” and “For Physicians.” From there, Lenz Lead Web Developer Ricky Pattillo and Web Developer Lizzi Skipper developed and launched the site, which includes a content management system, is responsive, and SEO optimized.
