Lenz Marketing Social Media Strategist Rae Steinberg recently served as a mentor during “PRSSA 2025 Southeast District Conference – Culture & Communications: Empowering Voices in PR & Media.” The event, hosted by Clark Atlanta University’s PRSSA chapter in partnership with Comcast and Black Tech PR Society, marked the first-ever PRSSA District Conference hosted by an HBCU.
Steinberg served as a mentor during the “Speed Mentorship” session during the “Career Prep Power Hour” event. During the session, students rotated through small-groups with mentors, where they learned how to lead like a public relations professional. Discussions focused on leadership strategies, effective communication, personal branding, and navigating career growth in the PR industry. It was an opportunity for student attendees to gain industry insights, ask questions, and build valuable professional connections.
Steinberg spoke with students about the interconnected relationship between public relations, marketing, and advertising, including how Lenz Marketing uses all three to produce measurable results for clients.
“It was incredibly inspiring to connect with such driven and passionate students,” said Steinberg. “I’m grateful to Clark Atlanta University PRSSA for the opportunity to serve as a mentor and support the next generation of public relations and media professionals.”
