Role

The ideal employee has:

  • Experience with project management is a plus.

Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Set social media and digital content strategy for assigned clients and develop corresponding success metrics.
  • Develop content (written and visual) for various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) and schedule posts via third-party software.
  • Develop paid social campaigns for various social media platforms.
  • Translate digital content into e-newsletters using software like MailChimp and ActiveCampaign.
  • Communicate social media and digital content initiatives internal and client points of contact.
  • Review and approve digital content schedules, strategies, and initiatives from junior content creators.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • 2+ years of experience working in social media or digital content creation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent personnel management skills, including providing written and oral feedback and direction.
  • Understanding of best practices for social media and digital content development.
  • High competency level in computer and software skills compatible with job responsibilities (Sprout Social, MailChimp, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, G Suite, Keynote, etc.)
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work on a deadline.
  • Ability to work well both individually and within a team setting.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and hard-working attitude.
  • Willingness to continually learn and hone your craft.
  • Experience with digital design software (Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) is a plus.
