The best and maybe only way to drink this diet cola is, first, get it ice-cold, then, pour it over ice cubes, then, add 9-year-old Kentucky bourbon Knob Creek.

At least that's been my experience.

What is weird about Fresca is that it is a soft drink based on the delicious taste of grapefruit. Grapefruit have a sour taste. But there was a eat-only-Grapefruit diet craze way back when that was supposed to make us all skinny, though nutritionally deprived.

So I guess, after many years, the geniuses at Coke must have figured out that a sour drink was not as popular as a sweet drink, and decided to sweeten sour Fresca with peach flavorings, to make it less bitter.

Kind of like they did with the original Coke when they made it sweeter as New Coke and then switched back to Coke but decided to name it Classic Coke, I guess because the most famous brand in the world ever invented needed a new name. For some reason.
